StudyPlugHub Community exists to connect African students and educators across all 54 countries — to learn together, grow together, and rise together. Every member deserves to feel safe, respected and valued. These guidelines protect that promise.
Rule 01
Respect Every Member
Treat every student and educator with dignity and respect. We come from 54 different countries with different languages, curricula and beliefs — that diversity is our strength. Bullying, harassment, personal attacks or disrespectful language of any kind will result in immediate removal.

- ✗Personal attacks or insults
- ✗Targeting the same person repeatedly
- ✗Public shaming or humiliation
Rule 02
Keep It Educational
StudyPlugHub is an academic learning community. Posts should relate to education, studying, academic life, career development or the shared African student experience. Off-topic content with no educational value may be removed.

- ✓Study tips, exam strategies and resources
- ✓Questions about subjects and topics
- ✓Sharing academic achievements
❌ Not Allowed
- ✗Spam or promotional content
- ✗Content with no educational value
- ✗Advertising or referral links
Rule 03
Zero Tolerance for Hate
We have absolute zero tolerance for hate speech, racism, tribalism, ethnic discrimination, sexism, religious intolerance or any form of discrimination. Any content attacking a person based on their ethnicity, tribe, religion, gender or nationality results in an immediate permanent ban.

❌ Not Allowed
- ✗Hate speech of any kind
- ✗Tribal or ethnic slurs
- ✗Religious intolerance or mockery
Rule 04
Academic Integrity — Learn It, Don't Fake It
StudyPlugHub is built on "Learn It, Don't Fake It." Sharing resources and helping others understand concepts is encouraged. But sharing completed exam answers for copying or facilitating cheating violates our core ethos.

- ✓Explaining concepts and helping understanding
- ✓Sharing study notes and revision materials
- ✓Discussing past questions for learning
❌ Not Allowed
- ✗Sharing completed answers for direct copying
- ✗Facilitating academic dishonesty
- ✗Distributing copyrighted materials illegally
Rule 05
Protect Privacy
Never share personal contact details — phone numbers, home addresses or financial information — publicly. Never share another person's private information without their consent. Doxxing results in an immediate permanent ban.

- ✓Connecting through the platform
- ✓Discussing your academic journey
❌ Not Allowed
- ✗Sharing phone numbers or addresses publicly
- ✗Publishing someone else's private information
- ✗Soliciting personal contact details
Rule 06
Protect Younger Members
Many members are school students under 18. Any sexually suggestive, explicitly violent or age-inappropriate content is strictly prohibited. Adults soliciting contact with minors are reported to authorities and permanently banned immediately.

- ✓Mentoring younger students respectfully
- ✓Positive encouragement for school students
❌ Not Allowed
- ✗Sexually suggestive or explicit content
- ✗Graphic violence
- ✗Adults privately soliciting minors
Rule 07
No Spam or Self-Promotion
The community feed is not an advertising platform. Posting the same content repeatedly, promoting external businesses or sharing referral links is not permitted. Genuine educational recommendations are welcome.

- ✓Recommending genuinely useful free resources
- ✓Sharing StudyPlugHub tools in context
- ✓Organic helpful recommendations
❌ Not Allowed
- ✗Paid promotional content
- ✗Repeated posting of the same message
- ✗Referral or multi-level marketing links
Rule 08
Share Accurate Information
When sharing academic information or exam content, ensure it is accurate. Spreading misinformation about exam formats, results or requirements can genuinely harm students' futures. If unsure, say so clearly.

- ✓Sharing what worked for you personally
- ✓Linking to official sources
- ✓Asking questions when unsure
❌ Not Allowed
- ✗Presenting uncertain info as definitive fact
- ✗Spreading rumours about exams or results
- ✗Deliberately misleading students
⚖️ Consequences of Violations
Formal warning issued. Post removed.
7-day suspension from posting.
Permanent ban from the community.
Immediate permanent ban. Reported to authorities where applicable. Applies to: hate speech, grooming, doxxing, explicit content involving minors.
